Weapon Rules

All Weapons

  • All 6mm guns will chronograph using .25g plastic BBs which will be provided.
  • All 8mm guns will chronograph using player provided .34g plastic BBs.
  • All Weapons systems that use an external air source will be required to lock their regulators.
  • Polar Star weapons are restricted to .30g and lighter BBs.

Rifles, Submachine Guns, Shotguns, Pistols, and PDWs.

  • Fire on semi-auto at all times.
  • 6mm weapons fire a maximum of 400fps.
  • 8mm weapons fire a maximum of 300fps.
  • No minimum engagement distance.

Squad Support Guns

  • Squad support guns are squad automatic weapons, light machine guns, medium machine guns and general purpose machine guns currently or formerly used by a military service. Examples include the M60, M249, PK, RPK, MG3, MG42, M-27 and MG36.
  • 6mm  SSGs fire under 450 fps
  • 8mm SSGs fire under 345 fps
  • Only squad support guns may fire on full auto.
  • Only squad support guns may use box/snail/c-mags
  • Machine guns fire 3-5 round bursts after dark
  • Minimum engagement distance of 50 ft.

Designated Marksmen Rifles

  • Designated Marksman Rifles are semi-automatic precision rifles such as the: SR-25, PSG-1, M14/M21, Dragunov (SVD) etc…
  • They are mechanically incapable of firing on full-auto.
  • 6mm rifles fire under 450fps
  • 8mm rifles fire under 345fps
  • Minimum engagement distance of 50 ft.

Sniper Rifles

  • Sniper rifles are precision, bolt action rifles.
  • 6mm bolt and single action rifles must shoot under 550 fps
  • 8mm bolt and single action rifles must shoot under 420 fps.
  • Bolt and single action rifles have a minimum engagement distance of 100ft
  • Players may only attend as snipers once authorized by TMP administrators.

Edged Weapons

  • Any player can carry a simulated edged weapon.
  • Edged weapons must be designed for training use. No modified real edged weapons can be used.
  • There will be no throwing of any edged weapons.

Explosives/Grenades/Launchers/Etc

  • Home-made simulated explosives must be approved by TMP administrators before use.
  • All launched projectiles must be approved by admins.
  • Never throw a grenade in a vehicle.
  • Launchers must be approved by TMP administrators.

Magazines and Ammunition

  • There is no limit to the number of bbs you may carry.
  • You may reload your magazines at any time in the field.
